tripping,
losing control,
toppling down the rabbit hole.

How did this begin?
Not with a kiss,
or a gaze deep into her brown eyes,
but it was her laugh.

Her safety deposit of love,
reserved seemingly only for me.
But it wasn't.
It was for everyone.

I like her.
But she likes everyone.
Especially you.
Just not in the way you want her to.

Yet here I am.
Crashing farther,
and farther,
down the rabbit hole.

Every time you seem to emerge,
you regress back to the bottom.
You're addicted to her.
You're addicted to the rabbit hole.
