Recomendations for plugin that will display external articles/posts on my site

Hi all,

Excuse the noobness I am still very much a beginner. I am looking for a tool or method of having a stream or time line of some sort that will display articles from different sites on mine. I understand that I would need to use RSS feeds for this but here is my problem: I used RSS aggregator and it performed just what I wanted, however the posts it fetched from other websites got added to the posts page on the back-end of my site. Is there anyway to do this without having the external posts/articles appear on my sites back-end? if that makes sense? help!
