How to ask for help?

Personal

Re posting a proxy as I lost my old one (forgot to copy/paste.) New notes/additions in bold italic and/or crossed out areas (Such as that one.).

I deleted my old post and am re posting it in hopes that I'll get some real answers. Also keep in mind that this is the only person that I'm comfortable with telling, don't try to change that or berate me for it.

I don't want to ask strangers for help and there's no one else I'm at all comfortable with telling.

I've been struggling with not having as much faith as I used to for a few months and decided I should probably reach out to someone.

Friend/mentor from youth- I've sort of known her for my whole life as me and her younger sister used to play soccer together but have only known her herself for about two years. She's really helpful and good at listening but I'm worried I would annoy her becuase because I've been asking her for help with other stuff a lot lately plus she's a lot older than me (senior vs freshman.). Would have to talk to her through online chat because we're never able to IM at the same time as each other and it's hard darn near impossible to catch/get her alone in person.

*...how should I phrase it when I do ask? I want to make it clear that I still believe but that I've been struggling with this for a while and I'm not sure what I * need or want from her I just feel like i need help. And I also don't want them her to think of me any differently.
