How to open two instances of the same iBook.

I'm studying, and I'd like to quickly flip between a couple of pages of the same book and keep them open. If I could just open the book more than once my life would be complete. I spent the last 1.5 hours looking this up. Seems like -n script doesn't work. And it's a paid for (drm) book so i can't use a third party app.

I don't think i have enough memory to download another os x... thing.

I've thought of some other less gratifying and slower solutions (like copy and pasting each page i want to work with in windows), but now i've invested so much time in it, I'd just like to see what you guys have to say.

Is there really no way to open the same book twice on a Mac? What's the harm in allowing that? Thanks for reading <3
