[BF1] Aim Assist on Consoles BF4 vs BF3. What will we see in BF1?
Hey guys,
I recently played BF4 again because of the free dlc they give out (which is awesome imo). After playing a few matches I really enjoyed the game (I quitted it during the first months due to the performance issues on consoles). When the next day I played with a friend Black Ops 3 I wondered why my aim was so off and I really struggled aiming on people. Well I found out why it felt so hard to do.
The Aim Assist in BF4 on Consoles supports "SnapAim Assist" which means it drags your gun onto your enemy even if your completely off him. This type of AimAssist is ridiculously strong in BF4 and I don't understand why it's there anyway. Yes, there has always been AimAssist on Consoles so I don't expect them to remove any type of AimAssist entirely. I started Battlefield on Consoles with BF3 on the PS3, there was also AimAssist of course, but only a "Tracking AimAssist" which basically lowered your sensitiviy when your crosshair was close to an enemy. There was no snap aimassist like in BF4 which allowed even very bad players to aim ridiculous fast on you. A friend of mine told me it would be the same way in BF:H and SWBF, so will we see it also in BF1? I personally have to say if there will be this ridiculous snap aimassist again i'm really not sure if i will get it....
So here are my questions: Do you like the new way AimAssist is on Consoles in BF4? Do you play any other shooters on Console which don't support Snap Aimassist in Multiplayer (BF3/Black Ops3/...) Would you prefer BF1 with or without SnapAim Assist?
