Airsoft sniper scope.

A while ago I decided I wanted to become a sniper since my squad didn't have one.
I bought a generally cheap sniper that came with a scope and upgraded it a little bit, eventually we went to a game and I found out that due to the crosshairs my eye was focusing on that and everything behind that was a big blur.
I was born with a very rare eye disease called Coats eye disease which causes my eye to leak a liquid behind the retina which causes retinal detach.
I had my eye lazered but still suffer from a bit of blurry vision in my right eye and changing what I'm looking at (zooming?) distance wise is incredibly hard for me to do.
In the end one if my teammates dropped my rifle (thanks!) and damaged the crosshairs within the scope, I ended up just ripping them out and now have a completely clear scope, I am know able to very clearly look at people in the distance (cant go further than 5 times).

Am I the only person who using a crosshair-less scope while sniping?
I am right handed to using my left eye isn't an option
