Am I the only one who would like to do Training/Play vs AI when in a group prior to matchmaking?

Seems like something that could be added to the game with little effort, maybe I'm wrong? Would anyone else like to see this?

I'm sure the idea came up during development, I'm curious as to why the option isn't available.
