Win10 nuked all my audio
Hello, ive been one of those users on the win10 hatewagon for some time because it one day decided to become unrecoverable.
I recently decided to upgrade from 7 to win10 just to give it a second shot, its a cool OS and maybe what happened to me was a very rare occurence.
I was mistaken, as seeing that the past few days my computer audio has been acting up. Severely acting up. I will explain:
I have an asus xonar sound card. Its a couple years old, excellent stuff. Well it turns out the sound card isnt outputing any audio AT ALL, and this has never happened before. Now, before you think i could just use onboard audio, well it turns out, when i choose that one for default, it ALSO has stopped making sounds. All the bars moving in system but no sound coming out.
Has this happened to anyone? If i cant find a good fix in the next 2 hours im going back to 7, the one that has given me less problems (seriously ive had win10 for a total of 2 months and it just finds a way of fucking up). Thanks for the help.
EDIT: As u/click4dylan ,entioned, I uninstalled the drivers and somehow this seems to have restored the audio on my pc. Thank you for the help and suggestions.
