How do I evolve my style and change what catches my eye.
Ive been doing at photography as a pretty consistent hobby for about 7 year. I look through sites like 500px and see so many different interesting subjects that people capture. What's getting me is that I don't see any of that as I go about my days. I know interesting things are there but I don't see them yet.
If I look back through all of my pictures over the years they are either landscapes or pictures of cars (mostly mine). Those two things are obvious and interesting subjects to my eye.
Does anyone have advice on how to grow my repertoire styles and subject? How do you train yourself to notice other things?
I don't live in an urban area otherwise going and camping out for street scenes makes sense. (I guess maybe I take a lot of landscapes because that's what I'm surrounded by?)
How have you expanded your range of subjects that you shoot?
