Exterior paint help/advice
The wife and I bought a fixer upper. The first thing we focused on was the interior of the home which has been completed.
This is what the house looks like right now - https://imgur.com/a/XzeAe
Our current plans are the front yard is going to be half grass and half planter boxes for fruits/vegetables. The front entry way is going to be turned into a wooden deck (darker brown). Same for the rear of the house. There used to be two rear doors. One was removed because that whole laundry room was taken out to make the kitchen bigger. Both concrete stairs are going to be removed and a wooden deck will be put in place that covers that portion of the house extending towards that weird dirt patch.
Our problem is, we aren't crazy about the roof color (tan color). In a perfect world our roof would be a greyish/black color and I wouldn't be on here asking for help. I've scoured the internet looking for paint schemes that go well with a tan roof, but ultimately we haven't found anything that we love.
The back older windows are getting replaced tomorrow and will have white trim. So we're thinking of either a shade of grey with white trim, or a darker shade of blue with a white trim. I'm leaning more towards grey and painting the front door a color other than white.
Thanks for any help any of you can give us.
