I now understand the name Green Hell.
So i raced on this track many times in various GT games on my ps2&3 and thought i was quite okay on it. When i came here and drove there in the Skippies i still thought i was quite okay. Not nearly as fast as most but it was still relatively "easy".
Then i got a GT3 Merc two days ago..... oh boy! I realise this was the first time i properly drove this track. Or lets say i properly flew off track many times. That said it did not help it was my first time in a GT3 in iRacing and it turned out to be a steep curve. I practiced hard today, i even forget to blink and check my mirror often.
But after 10-15 tries i finaly managed to drive 2 laps in a row without crashing, so i finaly managed a timed lap. a .44.xxx the last car in that session by 2 second to the guy infront. The few times i was passed it was like they drove in another league, well basicaly they do :P I won't be ready for a race on this track tomorrow so Philip Island will be my first ever GT3 race. This evening has been terrifying, but allot of fun. I'm knackered now and i might dream about this tonight :P
Thanks for reading my little experience story.
