Just built my dream machine. PC will not wake from sleep without shutting off first.

I just built this beautiful machine two weeks ago and I love it. But for some reason, when my PC goes to sleep, it will not wake up. The mouse and keyboard do not wake it up. When I push the power button, it will wake up and then shut off a few seconds later. I have enabled the options for allowing mouse and keyboard to wake computer, as well. When I click the mouse, it lights up but the PC stays asleep. Thank you for your time PC friends.
