Metal Gear Online 3

Hello,

I'm thinking of purchasing Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain for my PS4 tomorrow. I know I'll like the singleplayer part of the game, but I was wondering if the Online mode is still populated? As my friend has the game on PC and can barely find any games. Is it any different on the PS4? Cheers!
