Why do we even bring up prospects?

We bring up O'Brien and three games later he hasn't got a start yet... He has one pinch hit AB... If your going to recall a guy from the minors and take away consistent ABs from the guy, then just let him waste away on the bench what is the point? They did this with Drury at the beginning of the season and luckily he hit so well now they can't bench him. But come on give O'Brien a start!

Edit: Even worse, after Sunday's game he's gets optioned to AAA for a pitcher for tomorrow... Huh? We brought him up for one pinch hit AB.
