My Sylph sorceress died and came back as a gnome. Kingmaker spoilers ahead! NSFW

We have been playing kingmaker for a while and are pretty close to finishing book 2. I play a NE sylph sorceress and pretty much everyone hates her. I've tried not to mess up the campaign with being evil but sometimes, the opportunity is just too good to pass. Our last session, we ended up at a sorceress' house and her crow familiar was just chilling when the group was discussing whether this crow was just a normal crow or something different. OOC I didn't hear the others say that the crow was bigger than normal, so I thought it was just a normal crow, so I shot it with a magic missile. Everyone one hated me personally for that. I don't blame them! Hah!

To make up for hurting the sorceress' crow, we agreed to go get some mushrooms that grow in a big mud pit. Of course, this mud pit was guarded by a tendricula. In a move of what seemed like divine intervention (not the good kind) our healing oracle and my sorcerer were both sickened for 9 rounds. 9! The plant druid, his angry plant companion and an Akaros (an NPC from the Stag Lords fort) tried their damnedest to beat this thing. My sorceress was beaten down and grappled for a few rounds until I was about 12 hit points from falling unconscious. While she was grappled, I knew that she wasn't going to survive this encounter so I role played the shit out of it and had her bawling and being hysterical while she was puking all over. Then of course she was swallowed. My GM was nice enough to let my character try to cling to the stomach as a move action to try to keep from falling in the stomach acid. That didn't work and she fell into the acid. She died with the exact amount needed to kill her. 1 less hit point and she would have survived. The tendricula was killed on the next characters turn, but of course it was too late for me.

When we came back to our kingdom, the rest of the leaders (including my leader character.. We have an "A team" and "B team" to add more variety to the kingdom building and stuff) did not want to bring her back to life because of how awful she was but they decided to reincarnate her. She ended up as a gnome, which was not pleasing to my sorcerer. In a moment of role playing suicide, I had Allura Crismith, now Gnome sorceress, blind herself in front of the whole kingdom and go home to live out her days sad and angry.

tl;dr My sylph sorceress that everybody hated was killed and reincarnated as a gnome. She hated that and decided to blind herself so she would never have to see her horrible looks again.

Character deaths are sad but also great opportunities to role play. I love being able to add to the story of our campaigns even in my characters death. Oh well... time to play an inquisitor!

Edit: we were nauseated not sickened.
