[Discussion] Wanna share the reasons your build got delayed?

-Decided to build after I finished EMT School

-Car issues before I could buy the parts. Begrudgingly used my PC funds instead of my emergency funds.

-Decided to start making a game and have the PC as reward for finishing it... took way longer than I expected but in hind sight that's expected when you're working 60hr work weeks and you're just learning how to code.

-Game was playable, but not finished/polished. Bought the case to paint and put down a base coat of white to celebrate!

-Decided to divert the $1500 I had saved for paramedic school and focus more on studying for that than finishing the game and building a PC. I probably won't build the PC until early 2018 when I plan on moving out of my parent's apartment. Might even buy a new case and rethink the design.

It's turning out to be a 3+ year delay in build but on the bright side new tech is coming out that's gonna give me more bang for my buck!

Anyone else have their build get delayed for an extended period of time?
