Tricky temperature problem HELP

The avarage temperature in a city is 5,6 degrees celcius on the 1st of May and 11,8 degrees celcius on the 1st of June. The avarage temperature rises almost linearly. How do I explain with a linear model when the temperature exeeds 10 degrees celcius?
