How do you get out of a structure block?

I have the chords ready, the kicks and claps and hats are set. I just can't figure out how to structure it. I cant think of when I should bring this is and when to take that out ad this and that. It's a progressive house track. I've had this happen before and I'll figure it out eventually. I'm just wondering how you have all gotten out of it. I'm sure sitting back and staying away from FL studio will help but I want to know what others have done.
