My main problem with this game

I love this game I think it's wonderful but there is something that gets my blood boiling... Even though I'm frozen. I cannot stand playing against Mei she is so unextremely fun to play against that if I see her I will just quit out. The way that she can freeze you within seconds then stand looking at you then pop one shot of her spike and kill you is infuriating. I think the way to fix this is to make it just a little longer to freeze someone because sometimes it feels like you are slowed to a crippling speed then completely frozen then dead within moments. And I have no idea how to counter her except to stay a long distance away from her and try to snipe her.
