Issue with Path of Macros

When I try to use the Ctrl+NumPad whisper commands, my screen is toggled between fullscreen and windowed-fullscreen. Has anyone else encountered this and had any luck fixing this?

edit: this happens when using any keybinding for the whisper commands (e.g. ctrl+j or anything else)
