Putting an 03-08 engine in a '00 coroller

Hey guys,

My '00 'roller engine shit on me and now has piston rod knock. I called around the junkyards and none of them in Alaska have a '00-'02 engine. However, one of the junkyard representatives told me that an '03-'08 engine would work and that I would just have to change the exhaust manifold. I asked how easy that would be and he said it would be very easy.

Was he right? Would I have to purchase any additional parts besides the engine? I really appreciate the help
