Quest Talents: The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly
Truthfully Ive had some serious mixed feelings on the rework of the quest talents. But I have 3 basic questions regarding the rework of quest talents I'd like people to answer:
- How do you feel about the (relatively) recent changes to the quest talents?
- What hero that you play (QM or HL) is now a little a less fun or viable because of the changes?
- And on the other side of that last question, what hero that you play is now more fun or more viable because of the changes?
For my answers:
- My personal feelings are mixed like I said. I think it impacted all heroes heavily though so I must say I liked the old quest talents with no real cap. I'm not a fan of big changes, and I considered this to be a big change just because it affected so many different heroes.
- Tassadar. Yeah, I know it sounds stupid. But to me Tassadar is less fun to play now with the capping of conjurers pursuit. Tassadar having decent healing numbers IMO rely on a seemingly endless mana supply combined with khalas embrace as his level 7 talent. The rework of conjurers has made that a little more difficult in my opinion. Maybe I'm just a winey bitch but that's just how I feel.
- Artanis. So when I play artanis (I'm mostly a quick match player at this point) I almost always go seasoned marksman and I definitely get triple strike at 13, and nexus blades at 20. This whole combo makes arty a great big scary Protoss dps machine IMO. I feel like I ruin a Jainas day when I swap her into nearby bush and melt her down. It honestly reminds me of how much damage you used to be able to do with Sonya.
Now keep in mind people, I'm not a pro. I'm not very good at all actually. I just love blizzard games and mobas. Just wanted to share my personal opinion on a recent change and get the opinion of other members of the community.
