Which 3d printer should i buy?

Hey guys, thinking about buying my first 3D printer. I would prefer a kit that i can put together and learn about the various components. Ideally, i would get the prusa i3 mk2, but it's a little out of my price range.

One prusa clone that looks too good to be true is the makerfarm pegasus. With so many options for future upgrades, it looks like the perfect model for me. Does anyone have any experience with the pegasus? Are there other options in the price range of the 8 inch model that would be better?
