I don't know where to begin. Penny for your thoughts.

Hello. I'm wondering if there is a kind of all in one comprehensive guide out there somewhere. Something that has a beginning fit for beginners and literally lays things out for you like you're a retard.

I ask this because A. I don't know where to start on my self improvement journey. and B. Anytime I get the urge to really do something great, I get held down really hard by a lack of information/support etc, misinformation, general bullshittery and the fact that there seems to be no master guide in sight.

So many people say do A and B and other people say they are wrong and X and Y are the correct ways etc.

I feel like I'm stuck in some perpetual thought process that never ends. I can't get things done because I must do them the right way, but I have no Idea what the right way is. Does anyone else feel that way or have any thoughts about it?

I'm not bashing the idea of have multiple faucets of information/opinions etc. I just have not found the thing which I look for, masterguide etc. One big thing I can stick to etc for a while.

I guess since that's out of the way, I'll tell you about me personally. I find it easier to dot point things out, else you will read more babbling like above.

Things I must change,fix etc;

  • Obese 20year old, (115kgs, ~255lbs @ 183cm/ 6ft)
  • No friends/social life (Is this a bad thing?)
  • No direction/goals (other than an urge to improve my current state)
  • My job provides little to me or society other than money
  • Have no idea what to do in terms of finances/ investing
  • No degree/diploma/didn't finish school/no qualifications etc

I feel like a lost cause. My hygiene is bad, I have no routine, nothing to look forward to etc, I feel like I need more interests and I find it hard to enjoy the ones I have.

I really like cars and bikes, but I feel like they're just a waste of time and money because the end result is simply something I might enjoy a little more and some status upgrade etc. I play videogames, can't enjoy them because they're bullshit timesinks purposefully designed to make you play them heaps. I like books, but I don't read them because I feel like there are just too many filled with nonsense to make it worth sifting through etc.

What do you guys think? am I being a whiny bitch? Yeah. But what the hell do I do?

Should I get a psychologist? Medication? Lift? Fix my poor diet? etc

I want to run and stuff, but because of my weight, I'm concerned about damaging my joints. So I must start small right? What is small? How can I tell if what I choose to do is enough but not too much etc?

I don't sleep proper hours, but I can't because I work irregular hours. No way around that one other than a new job. but my current job pays me pretty decently.

I have a shitty diet. Mostly fast food/junk etc. Brain is really messed up in this department. I don't think anyone can save me or help me. I know I can only help myself, but how? I feel urges to not waste food, so I overeat. I get junk food cravings ALL the time. It provides me happiness in my otherwise bleak life. I struggle to stick to eating healthy because it requires a lot of time and effort. I do not want to die at 40 but clearly I don't give that much of a shit if I let myself balloon up.

God this feels like a shit post. I really don't even know why I bothered to type this out. It probably seems like I'm just having a big ass whine, complaining etc. Dunno man. Just want some help etc. Where do I start?

Just to add, have zero interest in game/girls etc for the moment. I have bigger problems to deal with than my lack of plates/LTR etc. The sidebar is quite difficult in this regard since it's mostly sexual strategy.

I'm asking for insight here, the most logical place on the internet because I don't want some idiot to just tell me "Just do it, just get on with it" because I've been there tried that and I slip up after a short time, not to mention it's very generic advice.

I've rambled, sorry.

TL;DR, is there a structured masterguide/book thing that leads from detailed self improvement into other things lurking around somewhere?

And I'm a lost guy, what do you think I need to do?
