Choosing a patio material

Hi, all, I'm trying to figure out what would be the best material to pave my patio with and I'm hoping someone here has some experience with this. I have a very small patio (roughly 8x3 ft) that doesn't get any sunlight, as it's surrounded by shrubbery and fences. It's currently concrete and while it drains water well, I feel like it's always kind of damp and just holds moisture. I'm wondering if anyone knows of a material or product that I could lay over the concrete, maybe some kind of veneer or laminate, that would be more moisture resistant than concrete. I live in the Northeast US, so it would have to be able to withstand some rain, snow, and temperature changes throughout the year. Thanks for any advice you can offer!
