[Question] SmartTouch not Working

I use an activator gesture to bring up the SmartTouch buttons and that works, but when I hit the big button all that happens is the small button will disappear and after about two or three seconds it will reappear. During the time the small button is gone the screen does not respond to touch. Any ideas what is wrong? Thanks all.
