PSA on some basic strats that I still see people getting wrong with devastating consequences

  • Rule #1: If you trickle in one at a time, you're going to have a bad time. The amount of players I see doing this is absolutely insane. I am regularly queued up with high level people that all think they can 1v6. You cannot and are probably costing your team wins.

  • Rule #2: please switch your heroes to counter what the enemy is doing or to have a better team comp. Please. I know you want to play torbjorn on attack for the dank turret plays on top of the payload but unfortunately, I've seen more of you with a red X on your player icon than anything. Switch your heroes.

  • Rule #3: When on defense, don't run straight up to the attacking spawn doors and expect that to work. I've been seeing this a ton lately and its very frustrating. Defend the choke points, not the spawn doors. Trying to spawn camp them will inevitably fail when someone just tracer blinks behind it all and back caps you. Its not a good idea to camp spawn doors. Just don't do it.

This concludes my rant after having all of these things plus a little bad luck take my win rate under 50% and cause a great deal of hair pulling.
