BIG WEEK AND WEEKEND!!!

So even though I received my letter from my therapist in March to start hormones, I had to move doctors for insurance and outing reasons, and had to wait two months for an appointment. Finally, after much ado, I had my first appointment with my new doctor on Wednesday. They work quick, and I was able to get my labs done Thursday, and I had my scripts for E and Spiro by Friday afternoon. I meant to take a Day 0 picture, but my youngest son is in the hospital, so I was a little preoccupied.

Also, my mom was watching my other children last night, and after they went to bed I decided to come out to her. She reacted much like I would have expected, which was positive and supportive. She is very come-as-you-are, because it took her a long time to break out of other people's expectations of her so she could live authentically as herself, and so she's always encouraged us to embrace who we are and own it, and she's always supported us no matter what.

It feels so amazing, so REAL to finally be here after years of waiting. I wish everyone the best, wherever they are at in their journey <3
