Inexperienced F/20 selling her Saab .... Pricing?
BEFORE DUMPING ON ME FOR MY DECISION PLEASE READ! I am looking to sell my 2006 Saab 9-3 sedan. It is an unintelligent move (financially) to keep the car. I can not afford basic repairs let alone the more labor intensive repairs I just paid for.
It breaks my heart to sell this car. My first Saab (this is my second) saved my life when I careened straight into a unity pole at a good speed. Rescue assumed that the accident would need the jaws of life but upon arrival they opened the door and pulled me out without a scratch on my body. I know that should be reason enough to sell my car... But the repairs are excruciating. I am trying to enroll in school, have bills, and can't drive a car that might cost 300+ for a generally inexpensive repair.
I have never sold a car before, let alone a unique car like a Saab. I am just asking for a price point to jump off of. The car (quoting a Saab mechanic) runs "beautifully." I just poured over $1,000 into it but this is money I don't really have right now. It has a couple cosmetic issues that just need a good auto detailer and one cigarette burn in the back seat (from an asshole who I almost destroyed because of that).

I want to ensure that my car keeps someone else safe or helps fix other Saabs. I love my car and am a Saab enthusiast. But I also would like a fair price for it and fear that I will get jerked around given my lack of knowledge/experience.
Ideally I would like it to go to a Saab enthusiast... (Fingers crossed!)
I am from northern Massachusetts but now live in a Mid-Atlantic state. I am willing to drive/ meet somewhere to sell it.
It's not some dumpy car you trade in... It need a good home. How much should I charge?
(I know it depends car to car but this car is in very good condition. The repairs were for a bunch of smaller issues that occurred at the same time and were not in relation to major safety issues.)
