Why I don't like the Neurodiversity movement

This article sums up everything I think is wrong with the Neurodiversity movement.

I know it's addressing autism not ADHD, but I think the point there making goes for both disorders.

I see my condition as a cause of suffering not just for me, but for people around me. Psychiatric medicine has done wonders. If I could cure my ADHD completely I wouldn't hesitate for a second. If I have children, I hope they won't have to deal with the struggles that I dealt with.

A lot of the time the Neurodiversity movement tried to erase the horrible things that these conditions have and not look at medicines, therapies, cures, or means of prevention and instead only focus on accpetance. I think this does a huge disservice to those with mental disabilities.
