How do I get the top bar with the shortcuts to be as it were before I installed RES, BUT ALSO RETAIN THE RES "MY SUBREDDITS" DROPDOWN?

So this is a continuation to a thread I posted here a few hours ago. You guys have been helpful in that situation, so, first, thanks.

You guys suggested I disable the 'subreddit manager' setting, which I did and it fixed the problem.

The problem now is, when I click 'my subreddits' the dropdown menu is the regular one and not the improved RES one. Is there a way I could have the subreddits displayed like I wanted them to in the previous thread AND have the improved RES 'my subreddits' dropdown menu?
