Can something be done about the sniper?

I seriously want the sniper in Halo 5 to be tweaked. The auto aim and hit detection of the bullets is outrageous. On numerous occasions theres times where I shoot near someones head and I think to myself "wow that shouldn't have killed him id be pissed if that happened to me". Then on the other end of the spectrum I've literally been killed by someone just spamming the trigger and the bullet goes no where near my head and I die.

I know it might sound like i'm being a big baby but you have to admit its kinda ridiculous how bad the auto aim/hit detection is.
