Does a player's character matter to you when it comes to potential signings?

Got thinking on this when I saw a few people in the Aubameyang thread hoping that if he went to RM it could free up Benzema. I found it absolutely bizarre that people would want somebody at the club who was found guilty of blackmailing his teammate! Similarly, although a much more extreme example, I even remember a few people saying they'd be happy with Mourinho at the helm if it meant trophies, even though he's repeatedly been found guilty of being a cunt.

So how does each person in here feel about this? Are you the type to hope we turn down somebody because they are shitty human beings with toxic personalities, or do you just want the very best personnel at the club no matter who they are off the pitch?
