Wanted to save girl for superlike, app accidentally closed, never saw her again

Saw a girl that seemed perfect for me, but was out of superlikes. Figured I'd wait a few hours and not take the chance of her not using tinder or something. Open the app back up, it needs to search for new people.

Now, after an hour of swiping, there is nobody new in my area. I did not see her again. So what happened, did it assume I wanted to swipe left or something?
