Log in screen has no password box or user avatar. Computer doesn't see keyboard either.

As the title says, there is no password box or user avatar, and my pc doesn't receive keyboard inputs, as I cannot ctrl alt del to get the login box back, nor can I boot the pc into safe mode. Any advice?
