Ethernet?

I'm running vm under WMware Workstation 12. I can't seem to get Ethernet working under android-x86-5.1-rc1.iso

I've tried several configurations as suggested by various installation guides, but can't seem to get any kind of virtual ethernet working.

Has anyone overcome this problem?
