Football manager touch versus FM 2016 on PC

Looking to get into FM, but I don't know what the best option is. I have an Ipad and a capable PC, so for my first FM game, what would be a better experience? The PC version or the mobile. I was leaning more towards the mobile simply because it's cheaper, however I do not know if it's worth it.
