Lack of DBT in my city is making me feel hopeless.

Seeking Support

Hi all. I've been diagnosed with BPD for over a year now and I honestly can't find DBT programs anywhere around me that don't require a year long waiting list. It is incredibly frustrating. I also don't have health insurance so I can't afford a private therapist. :(

This lack of assistance with this horrible disorder is so overwhelming and I find myself getting depressed a lot. I'm on anti-depressants and have read multiple books on the illness, but I don't know how to apply those skills to my everyday life.

Is anyone else in the same situation? How are you coping?
