Should I format additional hard drives before installing windows 10?

I'm currently running Windows 7 oem on an ssd. I am upgrading my motherboard so I'm not upgrading to Windows 10 but doing a clean install with a new key. I have an additional ssd for games, and a 1 tb hdd for everything else. Is it okay to install them without formatting?
