UDP Google Voice Trick Question

I have had conflicting replys so i am wanting to find someone with experience in doing this trick. Will winback will screw up udp lines if i transfer the number out from verizon to google voice then back to a new seperate verizon account as soon as the port successfully ported to google voice?

EDIT UPDATE: tried to do the GV trick this morning and since the account was brand new and freshly AOL'd into my name the website would not let me change the number. 6 hours later when the verizon call centers were open i requested a new number for the number in progress with porting to google voice. Exactly 24 hours later i got the message

We’re writing to let you know that your phone number: REDACTED has been successfully ported to Google Voice!

So it works like a charm whether you use the website or call verizon up to do it.
