Is it at all possible to dress like a Glam Rockstar and still get the ladies?

So, I'm a straight Cisgender Male who wants to dress a little more "colorfully". I find the looks of Glam rock/metal stars really appealing. That sense of style and color is cool. And I want to start dressing like that.

Now, I know if I start doing that it may catch the attention of male friends and some people might call me "gay"(which would be flat out untrue as what you wear and look like have no influence on your sexuality). But, would I still be able to attract the ladies? If I do it right and have some charisma can I still get girls?

Or would a dude in super colorful clothes and possibly some makeup be written off as "weird" or "gay"?
