Why is Aymeric so handsome and other male elezen so ugly?

Why aren't normal elezen allowed to look like him instead of like praying mantises. Even if it is because of "data limitations" just get rid of one of the hideous plethora of faces we have and give us that one. The "elf" race is usually the most attractive race in other MMOs, it's so weird they're one of the ugliest in this one.
