Perk TV Live stalling

I managed to get Perk TV Live going on several devices. It works great on my iPad, but my Kyocera and HTC only work for a couple of minutes before they get stuck on the commercial loading screen. Any idea why this is happening and what I can do about it? Clearing the app data seems to help, but I can't very well do that every ten minutes.
