Starting to feel stuck

Hey everyone!

I'm still a newbie goblin, and unfortunately I feel stuck as to what i can do at the minute. My goal is at least one gold cap before legion, and I have some questions as to how people think I should go about achieving this.

So far, I have around 150k liquid gold on me (It was 250k, but these token prices in EU are ridiculous at the minute - 90k for a token), and around 350k worth of stuff on the auction house that doesn't seem to be selling. Don't worry, I'm not going to complain - it's mostly transmog, I just need to wait for the payday.

So far, the vast majority of my gold has been through producing and selling Vials of the sands - they sell for an average of 60k on my realm, so I can net around 10k profit. However, these are extremely slow to sell, and I feel that I should be branching out to more than just transmog and vial of the sands to be getting gold.

My main concern is that I don't seem to be making any gold from my professions at the minute, as I just don't know what is profitable. So far, my professions are (all at 700):

• mining
• Herbalism
• inscription
• tailoring (twice, I'm producing hexweave bags)
• alchemy (make the occasional Vial of the sands)
• Engineering
• Enchanting

Is there any ways that you could suggest I could make more money using these professions? At the minute I have no idea what is good to craft, in general (I know this varies from realm to realm, but general items to look at would be helpful :)). I'm also on a very high population RP realm, if that makes a difference.

One last question that I have - I currently have five level 100 toons, yet only one has a fully functioning garrison netting me any income. Is it worth, this close to the end of the xpac, setting up the garrisons on the other characters? The garrisons on them are already level 3, they just have next to no followers at the minute.

TL;DR: What do you find profitable to make with your professions, and is it too late to set up garrisons on level 100 alts?
