Anyone here tried or pursued acting before? If so how'd it go?

Getting roles is already hard and very unstable for white Americans, but we know probably 100x times harder for Asian Americans, especially now the issue is in the limelight somewhat. Curious about experiences for anyone who has seriously pursued it before. Anything - like theatre or commercials or any other gigs.
