For those of you who are, or have been, on Lexapro, do you feel your anxiety coming back after only going off meds for a day or so?

Im on Lexapro and yesterday I forgot to take it and then I had to stay the night at work. So right now Im coming up on two days without it and I find myself worrying about things I dont normally. I mean, things I used to worry about but dont anymore. Like, ,y old worries are coming back. Its not too bad yet. Like, I can still recognize whats going on and that I shouldnt really be worrying, but its interesting that the effects wear off after so short a time.

But the reason I wonder is because before I went on it my therapist was telling me it leaves your system pretty quick. So i dont know if this is like a placebo effect cuz I know Im off it? Or does the effect really wear off after only like a day?
