Streaming ESPN
Hey everyone,
I unfortunately will not be able to stream any of the college games this year as I'm heading to my own tournament and am not at home. Just watching on a laptop with everyone else. I will instead explain how to get it up and running for yourself without logging into anything or using sling.
- First up go get hola for chrome (I assume you're using chrome).
- Find the game you want to watch from usau's links: http://play.usaultimate.org/events/USA-Ultimate-D-I-College-Championships-2016/ you'll notice the link itself contains a number, for instance the current womens semi is: 2811675
- Go to this espn.go.com and tell hola you're in the united states.
- Use this url for watching the game: http://espn.go.com/watchespn/player/_/id/####/size/condensed/ as an example, the current semi I mentioned earlier can be found here: http://espn.go.com/watchespn/player/_/id/2811675/size/condensed/
- Here's the main key, keep refreshing the page until you see a logo in the top right. You can see what I mean in this picture: http://imgur.com/HUtKig2 if you get one, you're almost there
- Hopefully once you get the logo the video will start to play. If it doesn't keep refreshing. Sometimes it takes me 10 or so tries and several of the providers before it works. I had cox for the previous semi and midco for the current one.
Hopefully that helps, I can answer any questions if you have any. Once you're done I highly suggest you uninstall hola as it's been shady in the past.
