Well, I kind of liked the new Top Gear

I suspect I might be in a minority, but I quite enjoyed that; it was a return to more of the "scripted but still enjoyable" feel that Top Gear had a few series ago when they did silly things in cars instead of throwing things of cliffs and setting stuff on fire. There were a good half dozen genuine laugh out loud moments and Chris Evans was nowhere near as annoying as everyone was predicting he would be. Not the greatest hour of telly ever made, but I'll be watching next week for definite which is more than the last series got from me.
