Can someone explain?

I pretty much abandoned ship long ago because the show started to suck so so bad...

I am now trying to go back and watch and I just dont know what the fuck is happening. No idea what is happening at all and I think ive watched the same episode like 3 times now.

So before I sign my life away to this goddamn show again, can someone please explain to me what is happening as of right now in the PLL universe?
