lil question (pc version vs xbox)

so a friend of mine got the xbox version and i got the pc version
last time i played at his place i recognice a realy annoying delay with the input (half a second? bit less? but its definitly not like playing @pc)
i use a xbox wired controller for pc - he uses wireless xbox controller
i brought my cable so we coult test it and it had still delay
any thoughts on that? i dont want him to experience a shitty delayed input :(
